Have your say. Get involved. Test new ideas.

Your experiences and opinions matter!

Curious about what makes brands and products better? It often starts with people who say what they really think. At marketmind, you can test new ideas, take part in studies and share your experiences. In doing so, you help shape products, services and communication that better meet the needs of real users.

Your opinion makes a difference

Why does research need your perspective?

Data alone cannot tell the whole story. How a product feels in everyday use, why a website causes confusion at a certain point or what makes advice truly convincing. These are precisely the experiences that help us put figures into context and understand them better.

What happens next? We bring together feedback from many people and analyse patterns, needs and opportunities. This turns personal experiences into reliable insights that help companies improve their products, services and communication in a targeted way.

How you can get involved

Would you rather discuss ideas with others or test things at your own pace? Our studies offer different ways to participate. You can take part in focus groups, individual interviews, UX tests or mystery shopping, for example. Some studies take place online, others in person.

Designed to fit around your everyday life: before each study, we tell you about the topic, process, duration and any compensation available. That way, you know exactly what to expect and can decide for yourself which studies interest you.

Ways to participate

  • Focus Groups

Share ideas and discover new perspectives through group discussions. Our focus groups typically bring together six to ten people to discuss a specific topic. They take place either online or in person. We always provide information about the topic, process, duration and compensation in advance.

  • Individual Interviews

In a one-to-one conversation, your perspective takes centre stage. Our individual interviews take place online, over the phone or in person. Depending on the study, we may follow a structured set of questions or leave plenty of room for your thoughts and ideas. This helps us gain a deeper understanding of people's experiences and needs.

  • UX Tests

How well does a website or app work in everyday life? In our user experience tests, you try out digital applications or specific features and share your impressions. You don't need to be a technology expert. We're interested in the perspectives of everyday users.

  • Mystery Shopping

How do customers experience advice and service in everyday situations? As a mystery shopper, you visit a shop or branch and carry out a clearly defined task. We explain exactly what to look out for beforehand, so you always know what to expect.

What happens to your data?

Trust starts with transparency. marketmind processes personal data exclusively for the defined purposes of "market research, opinion research and social research". In doing so, we comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act and recognised quality standards in our industry (particularly the ESOMAR guidelines).

And your answers? Personal information and study data (e.g. your responses within a study) are stored separately. Your answers are analysed anonymously, and clients receive only aggregated results. We store personal data locally at our Vienna office in a separate, encrypted system.

Have we contacted you?

Wondering why marketmind holds your data? If personal data (e.g. your name or contact details) are needed for a specific study, we use them exclusively for quality assurance. These data are deleted no later than three months after they are collected.

What does this mean for your answers? Your survey responses are processed separately from your personal data and analysed anonymously. This means your answers can never be linked back to you personally.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

Different legal bases apply depending on the purpose. We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Legitimate interests apply where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, provided these interests are not overridden by your interests, fundamental rights or freedoms requiring the protection of personal data.

For processing your data as part of registration with Ingress, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time if you no longer wish to participate. Your personal data will then be deleted in accordance with legal requirements, unless another legal basis requires further processing.

You have the right to access information about the processing of your personal data, to have inaccurate data rectified, to have data erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and, where the legal requirements are met, to object to processing. Further details are set out in Articles 15 to 21 GDPR.
